A celebration of creating and sharing. Our evening celebrates: our work and mission; our donors and volunteers; and — most importantly — the lives saved and improved because of everyone’s effort. The Heart Ball promises to be an engaging evening of fun and passion bringing community and philanthropic leaders together. Last year, our Heart Ball campaign raised just over $51 million nation-wide allowing us to fund over $123 million of research and programs across the country and in your community.

The Heart Ball is an elegant, black-tie celebration of life bringing together more than 600 of Virginia, Maryland and the District of Columbia’s most prominent physicians, corporate, health care and community leaders for an inspirational evening of dinner, dancing, live entertainment and live and silent auctions. The Heart Ball is the premier social event that salutes the American Heart Association’s impact on the Greater Washington Community.

The 14th Annual Greater Washington Region Heart Ball will take place on Saturday, February 25, 2012 at the Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner from 6:30 pm until midnight. The evening event will include spectacular live and silent auctions, seated dinner, inspirational stories of survival, and live music and dancing.

Thank you to our 2012 Heart Ball Chair, Candy Duncan!
